Well It's here! The first single from the upcoming album! I'm bound to make a couple of changes to the finished song in the full lenth LP but this is the Single Version so I can get away with a couple of minor glitches.
This song was written about someone who was extremely close to me at one point in my life, and the process of trying to come to grips with the fact that things do change, and that unfortunately sometimes, theres absolutely nothing that can be done to stop it.
I've written a song about this girl on every album I've ever released (whether you've noticed or not haha, sometimes the entire album is revolving around one person, hint hint!) Anyway, I've been struggling with a lot of shit lately, and lyrically speaking, this is probably one of my favorite songs, for the main reason it allowed me to get my feelings out without being blatantly obvious about who it was written for.
I've gone through so many changes lately, it's mentally depleting, but this is the first single from the new Scott (haha).
